How to enter Samsung Galaxy A8+ SM-A730F / SM-A730/DS Recovery Mode, Hard reset, Soft reset, Download Mode and Remove forgotten unlock Pattern. We can do it with 2 ways by pressing combinations of external hardware keys ( hard reset ) and from Settings menu ( soft reset ).

  5. Use Volume Down key to cancel ( Restart the device )

  1. In Recovery Mode, use Volume keys to select wipe data / factory reset
  2. Press Power key to confirm
  3. Use Volume keys to select Yes — delete all user data
  4. Press power key to confirm
  5. Use Volume keys to select Reboot system now
  6. Press power key to confirm

Soft reset from Settings Menu

  1. Turn on the device
  2. Select Apps
  3. Select Settings
  4. Select Backup and reset ( Android 7: General Management )
  5. Select Factory data reset ( Android 7: Reset )
  6. Select Reset device ( Android 7: Factory data reset )
  7. Select Erase Everything ( Android 7: Reset )

Warning! If you perform a hard reset, make sure to back up important data. The data can not be recovered after perform a hard reset. If you forgot your unlock pattern, It will remove your forgotten pattern unlock.
